Temple Shir Tikva is Hiring an Early Childhood Educator Near Wayland, MA

With a Reggio inspired curriculum, and a rich nature based focus, The Early Learning Center fosters a lifelong love of learning by celebrating each child’s natural sense of discovery and wonder. Our teachers create experiences on the adjacent campgrounds and nurture children’s innate gifts of curiosity by promoting safe risk-taking, creativity and social interactions. Guided by Jewish culture and values (including universal character traits like kindness, respect, gratitude, teamwork, etc.), our learners develop their inner skills and also learn how to be part of a community.
The Early Learning Center welcomes staff from diverse backgrounds. If you are a team player who enjoys working collaboratively with your co-teachers, children and their families, The ELC is the right school for you. We take great pride in the relationships we foster with each of our families as well as the circles of local and global communities.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Warm, engaging, creative and enthusiastic.
  • A strong knowledge of child development and an understanding of best practices in early childhood education.
  • Works collaboratively with fellow staff members, families and the community.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • EEC certified or would like to obtain their certification.
  • A desire for professional growth in a supportive, inspiring teaching community.
Hours of Operation are 8am-5pm. Full time and part time positions are available. 
Benefits: Paid time off, sick leave, professional development and education stipend, opportunity to contribute to a pension fund. 
Salary: $18-$24/hour commensurate to experience and qualifications.
